At first, you’re hooked. They say all the right things, mirror your emotions, and make you feel seen in ways you may have longed for. But then, slowly, the shift begins. The compliments turn into subtle critiques, the affection fades into confusion, and suddenly, you’re questioning your worth. That’s the gaslighting, the emotional manipulation that keeps you guessing — while they’re already preparing their next “supply.”

Narcissists are experts at wearing masks. They feed off admiration and attention, but behind their confidence lies deep insecurity.
