Layered Love & Lavish Generosity: A Lasagna Meditation

The Bible scripture in Proverbs 11:25-26, "a generous soul shall be made fat," and I believe it — not just in spirit, but in the deepest, sauciest layers of life itself.
Lasagna is no rushed meal. It’s not thrown together — it’s built, layer by layer. Patience, care, and generosity are required at every step:


The hearty base of intention.
The slow-cooked sauce of compassion.
The creamy béchamel of kindness.
The unexpected spice of joy.
 And of course, the final golden layer — love, bubbling over, refusing to be contained.
Each ingredient isn’t just measured — it’s given. Lavishly. Freely. The best lasagnas are the ones where someone didn’t hold back. Where the cheese was piled high, the sauce deeply seasoned, and the layers stacked without stinginess.

So, it is with people.
When your soul is generous, you layer others with comfort.
When your heart is open, your love nourishes more than just one.
When you live richly — not in material, but in mercy — your life becomes a dish that feeds multitudes.

Don’t be afraid to be extra. To pour more love, offer more help, add that second (or third) layer of grace.
You won’t run out. You’ll just rise — warm, full, and unforgettable.

Because a generous soul shall be made fat — with purpose, with peace, and with the kind of abundance that can’t be measured in calories.
