The finale Part One “Layered Love” Series
Down to Your Last Pennies? Don’t Forget the Lasagna and Love There are days when it feels like everything’s running low — money, energy, patience, maybe even the connection in your relationship. You feel stretched thin. You wonder if you’ve got anything left to give. That’s when scarcity starts whispering: You’re empty. But scarcity lies. Because sometimes, what remains is exactly what matters most. Sometimes, it’s lasagna. Lasagna Isn’t Fancy — But It’s Real. Looking through what I call 'The Lasagna Lens' Lasagna isn’t fast or flashy. It’s layered, slow-cooked, and made with care — a labor of love from someone who showed up, stayed in the kitchen, and fed you. Love works the same way. It’s not always grand gestures. Sometimes it’s the steady presence, the quiet kindness, the meal on the table when you’re too tired to ask. It may not look like wealth. But it is abundance. What to Do When You Feel Empty. When you're down to fumes, don’t chase something bigger — slow down and notice what’s already here:
Love Is Built in Layers Being down to your last pennies doesn’t mean you’re broke. It might mean you’re standing in the middle of something real — layered, imperfect, and still full of love. So pause. Smell the lasagna. Hold their hand. You’re not out of love — you’re just being reminded what it’s made of. Layers of Love, Sam The Lasagna Lady®
