Samantha Kendall known as Sam…The Lasagna Lady, owner of Award winning (CBS) and Best Comfort Food (3rd Annual Pastoral Artisan Producer Festival) shares her journey of how she overcame adversities and tragedy discovering her destiny in entrepreneurship.

When Sam’s daughter Amanda was two years old, she would run and hide when she cooked.  One of the funniest moments she recalls! After several attempts, Sam soon learned how to prepare great meals.  Although Amanda’s favorite was bacon and white rice, she loved Sam’s lasagna.  
 
Placing a pan of baked lasagna on the table for her children to eat healthier and enjoy is what built their strong foundation of resilience and faith giving Sam the vision to start her own business. Sam’s story is bundled with hope to boost everyone to soar in the face of tragedy and heartbreak to finding their passion.  Looking past current conditions allows anyone to look through different eyes; Sam’s is lasagna.
 
Amanda’s siblings were in disbelief of a horrible tragedy.  Shortly after Sam’s ex-husband left her and the children, her daughter Amanda was murdered on Valentine’s Day 2006.  Finding the strength to move forward after this heartbreak and tragedy unfolded lasagna.  Before she died, she said, “Do You Ma”.  Sam knew that meant to move forward with her passion.  
 
Sam is making lasagna bigger and currently writing the next Life Through Lasagna Eyes series to this stand-alone inspirational self-help. 
 
In memory of Amanda Skie Gallon, Sam dedicates this book to everyone that lost loved ones to gun violence, their families and the many lives that are touched.  She hopes this book will encourage everyone and ignite them to find their passion.
